About

The Temple of Liberation blog was begun on January the 9th 2010 by founder Robert von Garrett (a.k.a. Perverted Satyr) to explore and gather online resources dealing with 'sacred sexuality and eroticism.' This concept has been interperated very loosely, for the sake of this blog, so as to traverse this realm uninhibited by overt preconceptions and biases, to explore its various manifestations however subtle and irrespective of the expressed intentions of the source material.

In this grossly disenchanted modernity, this topic is of immense and unrecognized importance to furthering understanding of humanity's base desires and needs, as well as realisation of our highest potential. The profane and the sacred need not, and should not, be artificially divorced. Unfortunately the resources are limited (at least, by our imaginations) and are severely fragmented.
The blog will attempt something that has not been done before* - to begin to bring together the disseminated strands of the available resources exploring 'sacred sexuality and eroticism.'

As it develops within this blog you will hopefully find articles, excerpts, pictures, video and links to all the best that the internet has to offer on this topic.

As well as being a journey the 'Temple of Liberation' is a celebration of our sexuality in its various manifestations. The temple is overtly opposed to the misconception that sex, nudity, eroticism, and bliss are in anyway profane but rather, actively promote the realization that human sexuality is a sacred manifestation of our inherent divinity.
